Scrapes, cuts and more serious injuries could strike anywhere, not just during a camping trip. Therefore, a first aid kit should always be readily available. We keep one at home and one in each vehicle.
For a camping trip, we will add over-the-counter medications to the first aid kit. For instance, tablets for headache, cold/flu, allergies, motion sickness, heartburn, and upset stomachs. Speaking of an upset stomach, bring your own toilet to the campground bathroom with you just in case it’s all used up.
